I can remember Christmas 1982. I was 10 and I wanted an ATARI. My parents told me straight through Christmas Eve that they could not afford to buy one. To my surprise, one was waiting for me to open under the tree at 12am. I kept that ATARI well into my adulthood. My favorite games were FROGGER and SPACE INVADERS among others...

My favorite Christmas memory is the Christmas I celebrated in 2003 at Lighthouse International WC. It was my 1st Christmas drug free and sober in over 15 years. This year I will celebrate my 6th Christmas clean. Praise the Lord! Thank you Lighthouse for being part of the best years of my life. More is yet to come. Merry Christmas!!

Gloria A Dios

I remember as a child, the excitement I used to feel at Christmas Eve. I knew that Santa wasn't real (I discovered gifts in a closet once)but my parents used to tell me anyway. We weren't allowed to open gifts until Christmas Day and I was told that if I didn't go to sleep, I wouldn't get any gifts. So I would try so hard to go to sleep with no avail. Needless to say, I used to fake the funk so to speak, and at about 3 am, I would get up and find my presents!

One gift that I remember, was the record player that I really wanted ( It played 45's remember). It came along with the record that I really wanted...."Masterblaster" by Steve Wonder. Classic!

The Meaning of the Christmas Tree
Each part of the Christmas tree celebrates Christ's birth and tells the story of how God sent His Son to earth. The wood reminds us of the manger where He lay and of the rugged cross where He gave His life one day. The evergreen shows the eternal life Christ gives - anyone who believes in Him forever lives! The decorations represent blessings from above and inspire us to thank the Lord for His tender love. The shining lights show us how we're to do the same, as we share His grace and seek to glorify His name. So may each beautiful tree bring honor to our King, and may we celebrate Christ's love in everything!
Luke 2:14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, and good will toward men.

...FELIZ NAVIDAD

Wow!! so many memories. I can remember those I spent in Puerto Rico as a child going from house to house with the parandas until the daybreak. Poor people we were waking them from there sleep to make them cook for us,but I can never forget the tradition of our culture and how we cedlebrated the birth of our saviour. God Bless all of us this coming New Year.

Man I was dissapointed to find that Santa looked just my Dad. God Bless all my brothers and sisters.

Men that run
We don't like to think of a man running from something as men who should be our models. Yet men who don't run from some things will find their lives destroyed. There is a time to stand but also a time to run.
Exambles of men that have run;
1. David ran from the the presence of Saul because of Saul's jealousy and ended up with the throne.
2. Joseph ran from the arms of a flirting woman and kept his integrity.
3. Elijah fled the evil of Jezebel to live to see her destroyed in another time.

Sometimes the best way to stand as a man is to run like a deer!
