Wednesday, November 19, 2008 - THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE GOING STRONG; Response to the drive has been fenominal.  Bags and more bags of non-perishable food keep coming in.  Our missions team thanks our church family for responding so generously. / COLECTA DE COMIDA PARA EL DIA DE ACCION DE GRACIAS SIGUE FUERTE; La respuesta a la colecta ha sido fenomenal.  Bolsas y mas bolsas siguen llegando.  Nuestro equipo de misiones agradece a nuestra familia espiritual por responder con tanta generosidad.

MCL/DEACONESS LILLY FARIAS PREPARES FOR HOMELESS OUTREACH; Lighthouse will bless 50 homeless people in the city of Ft. Pierce during this time of thanksgiving.  We're receiving donations of clothing, toiletries, baby wipes for the care packages that will be gifted to each homeless person.  Our DRIVEN student ministry will help prepare the packages. / MCL/DIACONISA LILLY FARIAS PREPARA EL ALCANZE A LOS DESAMPARADOS; El Faro va a bendecir 50 personas desamparadas en la ciudad de Ft. Pierce en este tiempo de accion de gracias.  Estamos recibiendo donaciones de ropa, articulos higienicos, "baby wipes" para las cajitas de amor que se regalaran a cada persona desamparada.  Nuestro ministerio de jovenes estudiantes, DRIVEN ayudaran preparar las cajitas.

ALL 25 GUARDIAN ANGEL FAMILIES HAVE BEEN ADOPTED; Guardian Angel is an organization that helps disadvantaged families and receives gifts for christmas to bless the children of these families.  In addition to many organizations, our church has joined them this year and adopted 25 families to bless their children with gifts this year.  Thank you to all who will buy the gifts. / TODAS LAS 25 FAMILIAS DE "GUARDIAN ANGEL" HAN SIDO ADOPTADAS; "Guardian Angel" es una organizacion que ayuda a familias desventajadas y recibe regalos en la navidad para bendecir a los ninos de estas familias.  Con muchas organizaciones, nuestra iglesia se a unido a ellos y hemos adoptado 25 familias para bendecir a los ninos de ellos con regalos este ano.  Gracias a todos quienes compraran regalos.

Saturday, November 15, 2008 - SERVANT CENTRAL APPRECIATION DINNER; Pastoral team put on the best servant appreciation dinner yet.  Pastor Annette and Lisy really put a lot of heart into tonight's event.  The pastoral team and their spouses received the "honored guests" and served the delicious food and desert.  Our servants had a great time and Pastor Angel gave an inspirational speech about the vision for 2009 that left everyone feeling great about the new atmosphere in our church and that the "best is yet to come."  After the dinner, Pastor Angel stated that this was the first time in a long time that he felt great about the success of his leadership team, "Our leadership and servant teams have evolved in 13 years.  The whole team has become the team that is required for what God has called us to do.  God has blessed us with momentum and we feel great about the culture God has help us to create in our church." / CENA DE AGRADECIMIENTO DEL CENTRAL DE OBREROS; El equipo pastoral organizo la mejor cena de agradecimiento hasta la fecha.  La pastora Annette y Lisy en verdad pusieron mucho corazon en el evento esta noche.  El equipo pastoral y sus respectivos conyugues recibieron los "invitados de honor" y sirvieron la comida y postre deliciosos.  Nuestros obreros se gozaron y el Pastor Angel dio una platica de la vision para el 2009 que inspiro y dejo a todos sintiendose muy bien de la atmosfera nueva en la iglesia y de que "lo mejor esta por venir."  Despues de la cena, el Pastor Angel dijo que fue la primera vez en mucho tiempor que se sintio muy bien del exito de su equipo de liderazgo, "Nuestro equipos de liderazgo y obreros se ha desarrollado en 13 anos.  El equipo entero se ha convertido en el equipo requirido para lo que Dios nos ha llamado.  Dios nos ha bendecido con impetu y nos sentimos muy bien de la cultura que Dios nos ha ayudado crea en nuestra iglesia."

Saturday, November 1, 2008 - Harvest fest was a great success today.  1 person gave her heart to the Lord and many were prayed for under the Prayer Gazebo serviced by our Evangelism Team and the Welcome Center signed up a whole lot of guests. / El Harvest fest fue un gran exito hoy.  Una persona entrego su vida al Senor y se oro por muchos bajo el Gazebo de Oracion serviciado por nuestro Equipo de Evangelismo y el Centro de Bienvenida inscribio a muchisimo invitados.

Friday, October 31, 2008 - All geared up for HARVEST FEST 08'.  Servant teams, with the direction of Pastor John have prepared what will be another day of fun for the whole family.  Our church family and surrounding community have been invited for this annual event that has served our community every year.  COME AND JOIN THE FUN! / Todo preparado para el HARVEST FEST 08'.  Los equipos de obreros, con la dirección del Pastor John han preparado lo que será otro día de diversión para la familia entera.  Nuestra familia en la iglesia y la comunidad circumvecina han sido invitados ha este evento anual que ha servido nuestra comunidad cada año.  ¡VENGAN Y DELIETENSE CON NOSOTROS! 

Wednesday, October 29, 2008 - What a great time was experienced at the praise and worship service that is celebrated on the last Wednesday of each month during Life Group semesters.  After anointed singing, Pastor Angel introduced our Life Groups facilitators and their groups.  It was great to meet the groups and see who was in who's group.  Pastor encouraged those who did not sign up this fall for a Life Group, to do so for the Winter Semester. / Que buen tiempo se experimento en el servicio de alabanza y adoracion que se celebra el ultimo miercoles de cada mes durante el semestre de Grupos de Vida.  Despues de canticos ungidos, el Pastor Angel presento a nuestros facilitadores y sus Grupos de Vida.  Fue un placer conocer a los grupos y ver quien es participante del grupo de quien.  El Pastor animo a aquellos que no se inscribieron para un Grupo de Vida en el otono, que lo hagan para el semestre de invierno.

Monday, October 27, 2008 - What a tremendous weekend!!  On Friday night our Team leaders and Servant teams came together for worship and spiritual refreshment and we were changed and renewed by a powerful word from Prophet Nino.  The Lord told us that we should constantly "refuel" so that we are always ready to pour out in service to others.  Nino felt that there was something different about our church and leadership that would facilitate our journey as a 21st century church.  Nino ministered in all three of our Sunday services and brought a powerful prophetic word.  CD recordings are on sale now at the Welcome Center. / ¡Que fin de semana tremendo!  El viernes por la noche nuestros lideres de equipo y equipos de obreros se reunieron para adoración y refrigerio espiritual y fueron cambiados y renovados por una palabra poderosa del Profeta Nino.  El Señor nos dijo que deberíamos "recargarnos" constantemente para estar siempre listos para dar servicio a otros.  Nino sintió que había algo diferente en nuestra iglesia y liderazgo que facilitaría nuestra jornada como iglesia del siglo 21.  Nino ministró en todo nuestros tres servicios el domingo y trajo una palabra profética poderosa.  Las grabaciones estan en venta ya en el Centro de Bienvenida.

Wednesday, October 22, 2008 - Our leader and servant teams came together yesterday for their Team Meetings and what a positive spirit and energy was felt as teams met.  Then as they do after every meeting, leaders and servants came together at the alter with Pastor Angel who read a verse in the Bible found in Isaiah 54:17.  The group started worshipping God for who He is in our lives and a strong annointing came upon the whole group.  / Nuestros equipos de lideres y obreros se reunieron ayer para sus Reuniones de Equip y que espiritu y energia positiva se sintio mientras que los equipos unian.  Entonces, como acostumbran despues de cada reunion, los lideres y obreros se juntaron en el altar con el Pastor Angel quien leyo un versiculo biblico en Isaias 54:17.  El grupo comenzo a adorar a Dios por quien es El en nuestras vidas y una uncion fuerto cayo sobre todos.
